Aggregates
Materials may vary in maximum size and percentage size distribution (grading) to suit the required applications. When producing these materials the aim is to always to have a finished product which is clean, hard and durable and capable of performing as required in an engineering environment. Aggregates are used in the downstream production of our various end products such as Ready Mix Concrete. The most commonly produced sizes are, 0/4mm, 2/6.3mm, 4/10mm,10/14mm, 14/20mm, 20/40mm, 31.5/40mm
Granular Filling
Granular materials may vary in maximum size and percentage size distribution (grading) to suit the required applications. When producing these fill materials, the aim is to always to have a finished product which is clean, hard and durable and capable of performing as required in an engineering environment. We offer the following filling: T.0 Structural 0/125mm - for use in depths of >900mm. T.1 Structural 0/31.5mm crushed rock (0-40mm crushed gravel for use in depths of <900mm. T.2 Permeable 4/40mm Natural round predominently Gas permeable layer (Radon) min depth 200mm. T.3 Blinding 0/4mm blinding layer T.2 - Max depth 50mm max
Readymix
Hennessy manufacture a vast range of readymixed concrete mixes using their own aggregates, sand, water and admixtures. Other ingredients such as fibres, pigment and air entrainment add improved performance and other characteristics to the concrete. A range of compressive strengths from 15N To 50N is available in a range of aggregate sizes.
What we offer
Our aggregates carry the CE Mark and declarations of performance for every grade of aggregate or fill material. All our stone products are fully certified, tested and pyrite free, and our concrete is produced to EN 12620:2002 & AI:2008 (European Concrete Standard).
